Blue River Longrifles web site
The Blue River Longrifles, Inc. were founded in 1983. We are a Charter Club in both the National Muzzleloading Rifle Association, and the National Rifle Association. The object of the club is to encourage and advance organized shooting of Muzzle Loading Firearms, and to promote higher standards of sportsmanship, safety, and good fellowship among those who participate in such sports.
We hold monthly shoots on the fourth Sunday of each month with the first relay beginning at 1:00 P.M. Our monthly shoots are governed by the rules and regulations of the National Muzzleloading Rifle Association. Our Range is located near Morristown, Indiana, and you are cordially invited to attend the monthly shoots. The rest of the month the Range is reserved for our members to practice their marksmanship with MUZZLE LOADING FIREARMS.
Membership in the Blue River Longrifles is available on an annual basis. The annual dues are $20 per single member and $25.00 for family membership with children under the age of 18. Among the benefits of membership is the use of the range to sharpen your muzzleloading skills. We are accepting new members at this time, and anyone interested in joining can contact Ron Vandenbark at 765-785-9284.
